How did the meeting go?
On a similar topic, why is the new sprinkler system above ground along the King William/Roosevelt Park walkway? Are there any plans to change this?
My recollection from an earlier meeting is that they're irrigating some new grass and wildflowers along there, and, once those take root, they won't need any water anymore, and the sprinkler system will go away.
That sidewalk sure is nice, huh? I can't wait for the bridge to go in! My wife and I love to ride bikes downtown or to Blue Star, and being able to take the river is going to be so incredibly awesome.
I understand the EPA clean-up of the Silos site is holding up the bridge installation.
A bridge?! I couldn't find any information on how they were going to connect the rest of the path. That will be a great spot!
